Because when you join The Ride to Conquer Cancer, you’re taking action, becoming part of a powerful tribe and creating hope for countless individuals touched by cancer.
If you have a will to stop this disease, you have a place among us. The Classic Plus route leaves from Toronto and offers an elevated route experience through the scenic regions of Peel, Halton Hills, Hamilton and Niagara.
The money you raise will benefit Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world, and move us closer to our vision to Conquer Cancer In Our Lifetime.

During the summer of 1980, Terry Fox ran through Georgetown on his Marathon of Hope. He ran along highway 7, stopped at the top of Norval Hill and was greeted by thousands who lined the route, made him homemade food, gave him cards, donated what they could and wished him well. Each year since, the Georgetown Terry Fox Run has endevoured to achieve the goal Terry never lived to see: a cure for cancer. On Sunday, September 17, join us at the Gellert Centre in Georgetown South as we stand against cancer, remember Terry and enjoy a beautiful day of friends, family and fundraising. Walk, roll, run or jog the 5k loop. Pets are welcome. Free pizza, drinks and Terry Fox memorabilia will be available. But most of all: when cancer's last day comes; know that you did your part to make Terry's dream come true.
