Start your month-long Passport Tour of this show by picking up your passport each weekend at any one of these events, then visit the other gallery that same weekend to get it stamped and entered into the four weekly draws for the Gift Bag.
One show hanging in two galleries at the Halton Hills Cultural Centre and Falls Gallery in Alton.
A total of 39 artists from the GTA, Hamilton and further north will head to the hills this May. Their photography and other fine art will be showing concurrently in two galleries in Caledon and Halton Hills. The Falls Gallery in the Alton Mill Arts Centre and the Lower Sisnett Lobby at the Cultural Centre in Downtown Georgetown are approved satellite sites of the 27th Scotiabank CONTACT Festival, the world’s largest photography event.

The Bohemian Salon - May 5, 7:00pm-8:30pm
The Bohemian Salon opens the event lineup of this month long show on Friday, May 5,
from 7:00 – 8:30 pm in the Studio, located off the Lower Sisnett Lobby in the Cultural
Centre, 9 Church Street, Downtown Georgetown. Sam King to host an authors’ reading
series with regional writers. FREE admission, enjoy the exhibit, light snacks for purchase.
Curatorial Presentation, Juror's Walk & Talk - May 7, 3:00pm-5:00pm
On Sunday, May 7 from 3:30 – 4:30 pm at the Lower Sisnett Lobby of the Cultural Centre in Downtown Georgetown, Judy Daley is doing a Juror’s Walk and Talk. Her keen insight into the aspects of curating a show will help the viewers appreciate the many different pieces that make such an exciting show. Fully accessible building at 9 Church Street, in Downtown Georgetown with a nearby municipal parking lot.

opportunity to experience contemporary works of art and to encourage artists at different
stages of their careers. Hearing the insights of my co-jurors and discovering artworks that

Shutterbugs Schtick with mini-presentations and sharing with photographers, both from the show and other enthusiasts in the area. Held in the Studio, located off the Lower Sisnett Lobby in the Halton Hills Cultural Centre, 9 Church Street,
Downtown Georgetown.
The Opening Reception, May 13 from 11 am – 2:30 pm
Live music from the Sidemen Trio, dance vignettes from Marni Cooke, and a Meet ‘n Mingle with the artists and photographers.

Awards Ceremony at the Lower Sisnett Lobby Cultural Centre - May 27

Presentation of cash prizes and Awards Certificates for the Honorable Ann Lawlor’s Mayor’s Choice and People’s Choice. Light refreshments.
This event is organized and hosted by Studio By Design’s Connie Munson, who is passionate about all things photography and working towards a greater good. She, and a loose coalition of other creatives, know that a picture is worth a thousand words. To that end, the iconic images in this show that capture the rhythms and routines of our daily lives portray what can unite us amidst our diversity.
