Glen Williams hosts its annual celebration,a beloved tradition for many families, while Acton lights up the night with an epic fireworks display. Whether you're looking for a fun-filled day of small-town charm or a magical evening under the stars, there’s something for everyone happening in the Hills!
Morning to Afternoon - Canada Day in the Glen
Kick off your Canada Day bright and early in the heart of Glen Williams. A long-standing tradition since 1976, Canada Day in the Glen is one of the area’s most beloved events, offering a full day of classic celebrations and community spirit at the Glen Williams Park – 509 Main Street.
The event runs from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and streets around the hamlet will be closed during the celebration. Parking is limited, so be sure to take advantage of the free shuttle service running from the Real Canadian Superstore in Georgetown.

Evening Event in the Acton – Fireworks at Prospect Park
After a day of exploring Glen Williams, head over to Acton for an epic evening finish. Hosted by the Acton Firefighters Association, Fireworks is a lively community gathering that wraps up with a dazzling fireworks display.
From 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., Prospect Park - 30 Park Avenue, invites families, friends, and fans of fireworks coming together to enjoy the show. The fireworks will launch at 9:30 p.m., lighting up the sky and closing out Canada Day with a bang.

Under the Fireworks By-Law, the use and sale of family fireworks are prohibited within Halton Hills town boarders.
