The arrival of fall means it’s time to get out and enjoy the season’s festivities. Halton Hills offers a wide range of fall activities that are perfect for the entire family including: pumpkin patches hayrides, corn mazes, apple picking, festive events and more!  In Halton Hills, we have some amazing upcoming fall events that you do not want to miss out on.  

Georgetown Fall Fair  

Date: Friday, September 6th – Sunday, September 8th 

The Georgetown Fall Fair has fun for the whole family. Head to the midway to play some classic fair games, enjoy some yummy eats, grab a drink in the beer tent and check out some of the amazing cars at the car show. You’ll also be able to listen to some amazing live music all weekend long and don’t forget to see all the cute animals that will be there!

Head for the Hills  

Date: September 14th  

Voted the #1 Beverage Festival in Ontario, Head for the Hills is a day of craft beverage sampling, gourmet food, and live music. The four service clubs of Georgetown united to launch Head for the Hills in 2015. It is entirely volunteer-run and benefits charities locally. The charities they support include Food4Kids North Halton, Cancer Assistance Halton Hills, Townsend Smith Foundation and Community Alliance Reaching Everyone (C.A.R.E).  

Head for the Hills has raised over $500,000 and that money has been put right back into the community. Come out to Head for the Hills and support a great cause while sampling a bunch of unique brewers, cideries and craft beverages.

Acton Fall Fair  

Date: September 20th – 22nd  

The Acton Fall Fair is in late September and offers unique agricultural experiences for all. This annual community events features truck & tractor pulls, horse shows, games and midway rides, homecraft competitions and tons of local vendors. You’ll also be able to listen to live music and see some great local bands perform while you’re there. Come out and see why the Acton Fall Fair is named “The Best Little Fair in Ontario”!

Farmers Markets  

Date: Until Thanksgiving Weekend 

The Georgetown Farmers Market (every Saturday) and the Acton Outdoor Market (every Thursday) are on until Thanksgiving weekend. Stop by the markets and pick up some fresh falls produce to make yummy soups or bake some delicious fall goodies. Each market brings unique vendors, artisans and musicians to the community so head out to both markets this fall and experience what they have to offer.

Masquerade on Main 

Date: October 26th  

Are you looking for something to do just in time for the Halloween season? Look no further than Masquerade on Main. Children are entertained by street entertainers, while visiting each downtown business to trick-or-treat. Head to downtown Georgetown to participate in this free annual Halloween event!

Spooks & Spells Vendor Market 

Date: October 26th & 27th  

Are you a person who loves attending local markets? Andrew’s Farm Market & Winery is hosting a Halloween themed vendor market in late October. All of Andrew’s classics: pick-your-own, play areas, haunted forest, petting zoo and wagon rides through the scenic acres, along with tons of local vendors, food trucks and live music! It will be a great way to kick off Halloween weekend with the family!
