The Hills Gardening Road Trip is the perfect road trip for garden enthusiasts looking to get away from the big city and do some shopping. There are two garden centres and two nurseries on this road trip so that you have a variety of plants and garden supplies to choose from.
Start the road trip off by driving down to Crawfords Garden Centre in Milton and find the necessary seasonal plants to complete your garden at home! Browse their selection of perennial and annual plants, shrubs, garden containers and much more.
Next, stop by Reds, which is a family-owned garden centre located in Acton. They have all sorts of plants, soils, mulches, and firewood, as well as a garden shoppe that features pottery, beeswax candles, greeting cards, and so on.
After a morning of shopping for your next gardening project, stop by the Holland Shop in Acton for Dutch treats and inspiration. Get charcuterie, cheese, deli, sandwiches, candy, and other Dutch products.
Now that you have had a bite to eat and have hopefully discovered some newfound inspiration, try Sheridan Nurseries in Georgetown and check out their selection of nursery and seasonal plants, as well as garden supplies, home decor, patio furniture, and more.
The last destination on this road trip is DiGirolamo Nursery in Georgetown, and they supply annuals, perennials, basket mixers, herbs, hanging baskets and planters.
