    Getting Here

    Halton Hills is a quick drive from major city centres in Southern Ontario. You can expect a 40 minute drive from Toronto and 1 hour from Niagara Falls / USA border.

    Limehouse

    This quaint village is home to the Limehouse Conservation Area.  Once here, you can explore 190 acres of beautiful meadows, mature forests and lime kilns dating back to the 1800s.

     

    Acton Fairy Lake

    Acton

    Better known as "Leathertown" Acton was home to a tannery and grist mill dating back to the 1840's.  Tanning has been an important industry for Acton and at one time was the largest tanner in Canada.  To celebrate, thousands come out each year to the Leathertown Festival.

    Terra Cotta

    The Terra Cotta Conservation Area boasts over 450 acres of natural wetlands surrounded by trails and year round public learning events just to name a few.  Every March people come from all over to experience the Maple Syrup Festival with live entertainment and family friendly activities.

    Glen Williams

    This historic hamlet, located by the Credit River, along the base the Niagara Escarpment was founded in 1825.  Many of the buildings are original and date back to the 1840s and 1850s.

    Along with its picturesque rural setting along the Credit River, the distinctive character of Glen Williams is largely defined by these beautiful heritage buildings.

    Georgetown

    Georgetown is known as the "Most Patriotic Town in Canada" for flying over 57,000 Canadian flags during Canada's 150th birthday.  Located in Halton Hills, this picturesque small town is located 45 minutes from the Toronto airport.

    Norval

    Was home to famous Canadian author, Lucy Maud Montgomery, author of Anne of Green Gables.  Montgomery loved the natural wooded setting of Norval and she would walk the banks of the Credit River for solitude, comfort and inspiration for her writings.  Visitors from all over the world come to see her homestead Manse in which she finished six novels while living here.  Also in Norval is the Garden of Senses, in honour of this famous citizen.

    Hornby

    Hornby is located at the south end of Halton Hills with the Toronto Premium Outlet Mall and quick access to major highways.
