There’s no better way to soak up the summer months than with a round of golf and Halton Hills is the perfect place to tee off. Rolling hills, escarpment views, and a mix of public and private courses, this small-town gem offers everything from laid-back morning rounds to scenic venues perfect for events. Whether you're chasing your personal best or just enjoying the game with friends and a cold drink in hand, Halton Hills has a course for every swing.

Here’s a look at some of our local favourites to explore this season.

Founded in 1968 and expanded to 18 holes in 1998, Acton Golf Club offers a scenic and approachable round just minutes from town. With mature trees, tight fairways, and thoughtfully designed greens, it provides a rewarding experience for both newer golfers and those looking for a more relaxed challenge. Its countryside charm and welcoming atmosphere make it a local go-to!

Granite Ridge Golf Club

It’s the kind of place you’ll want to visit more than once.

Hornby Glen Golf Club

Address: 8286 Hornby Road, Halton Hills
Built in 1964 on rolling terrain at the foot of Halton Hills, Hornby Glen is a scenic 18-hole course with a relaxed, balanced layout. It’s beginner-friendly but offers subtle challenges for experienced players. Just a short drive from other areas in the Halton Region, making Hornby Glen is a local favourite known for great conditions and a welcoming vibe.
