Fall is the perfect time to snap some amazing photos. From the changing leaves to the growth of beautiful fall crops, autumn is the perfect backdrop for taking photos. Here in Halton Hills, there are so many picturesque locations for all your photo needs.  

Andrew’s Farm Market & Winery  

Andrew’s Farm Market & Winery is a great location to snap some amazing fall pictures. Get on a tractor ride and grab some pictures or take some photos with the sunflower fields as your backdrop. If you’re looking for some props head to the pumpkin patch to pick-your-own pumpkins.

Chudleigh's Entertainment Farm 

Chudleigh’s Entertainment Farm has so many different photo opportunities. Head out into the apple orchards to take some shots while picking your favourite seasonal apples. Or take a moment to explore some of the walking paths throughout the farm. Take some photos on the rope swings and enjoy the fall foliage as a backdrop for photos.

Glen Williams  

Glen Williams is the picture-perfect place for a fall photo shoot. There are so many great spots to stop and take photos. Head down to the Credit River and see the beautiful fall colours of all the trees. If you’re looking for a food photo opt, grab dinner at The Glen Tavern. The Glen Tavern is a farm to table restaurant, serving dishes with seasonal produce.

Limehouse Conservation Area  

Limehouse Conservation Area has such unique spots for photography. Stroll past the hidden latter and kiln and experience them in the autumn season. Explore the limestone landscape and see it as the leaves are changing colours and the weather cools off. Grab your cozy hiking gear and head out to take some truly magical photos.

Prospect Park  

Prospect Park in the fall is breathtaking. Enjoy a stroll down by Fairy Lake, this location also makes for some truly amazing photos. In late September, head to the Acton Fall Fair. There will be so many opportunities to take some great photos. Take a couple pictures on the Ferris wheel or in front of the Acton Fair sign.

Silvercreek Conservation Area 

Silvercreek Conservation Area offers some breathtaking views during the fall season. Choose one of the many different trails for unique back drops for your fall photography. If you’re looking to do some animal photography, Silvercreek is a great place to catch the little critters of the forest getting ready for the colder months. Spot some of the many species of birds, mammals and amphibians.

Terra Cotta Conservation Area  

Terra Cotta Conservation Area provides an amazing fall outdoor photo opportunity. Hike one of the many different trails for photo opportunities from all angles. Walk past bodies of water and across boardwalks while you immerse yourself in fall at Terra Cotta. Take some photos with family or loved ones or grab some amazing solo shots for the Gram.
